Parlatuote Oy History

Olavi Räsänen Oy and Savopak Oy founded Parlatuote Oy at  Rantasalmi in 1986. The company’s main product was laminated board, in addition to which parquet blanks and components for the furniture and furnishing and other sectors of the joinery industry were manufactured.

The production of parquet blanks was ceased at Rantasalmi in 1992. Since then the focus has been on laminated board production, with the products manufactured in a more advanced form under contract. The majority of these items are supplied surface coated in consumer packs ready for sale.

During the period 1994-2002 the company also had a production plant in Enonkoski, where the main product was shelf boards.
