ISPM-15 standard compliant pallets

Several countries have already adopted the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO)’s ISPM 15 standard for wooden packaging materials. The purpose of the standard is to prevent wood-boring insects from spreading into other ecosystems along with wooden packaging materials.

In Finland, and throughout the EU, the standard will be applied to packagings as from 1.3.2005. (Source:  Plant Production Inspection Centre).

No health certificate is required for wooden packaging materials marked in compliance with the ISPM 15 standard for countries applying this standard.

Olavi Räsänen Oy has been approved by the Plant Production Inspection Centre as a manufacturer and supplier of pallets complying with the ISPM 15 standard ever since the standard came into force.
